Is the accommodation accessible?

Cossington Park Cottage is rated by Visit England to National Accessibility Level M2. Our accommodation is  suitable for older and less mobile guests and part-time wheelchair users.

Do you provide bed linen & towels?

We provide Egyptian cotton bedlinen and generous bundles of soft Egyptian cotton bath and hand towels.

 

How many people can Cossington Park accommodate?

Cossington Park House can accommodate up to 12 adults in great comfort. We have on occasions accepted more for an additional charge. We have also welcomed up to 8 children and infants in addition to 12 adults, using a variety of sofa-beds, folding beds and cots.

Cossington Park Cottage can accommodate up to 6 adults. A travel cot is available for babies, and an additional smaller folding bed can be set up for a child.

Chaucer Bedroom: super king-size (6’6” x 7)

Trusty Servant Bedroom: double (5’ x 6’6”)

Nursery Bedroom: twin beds, which can be joined to form a 6’ x 6’6 double

Jolly Monks Bedroom: two large twin beds (3’6” x 6’3”)

The Cobbler Bedroom: queen-size (4’6” x 6’3)

The Pump Room Bedroom: double (5’ x 6’3”)

Three folding beds (2’-2’6” x 6)

 

Cossington Park Cottage

Go Lightly Bedroom (downstairs): twin beds which can be zipped together to form a 6’ x 6’3” double.

Hobbs Bedroom (upstairs): double (6’ x 6’3)

Kennedy Bedroom (upstairs): twin beds which can be zipped together to form a 6’ x 6’3” double.

One folding bed (2’-2’6” x 6) 

 

Are all bathrooms en-suite?

Cossington Park House

In Cossington Park House, the Trusty Servant, Jolly Monks, Nursery and Chaucer bedrooms are all en-suite. There is a family bathroom shared by the Cobbler and Pump Room bedrooms, as well as a downstairs cloakroom.

Jolly Monks and the Cobbler have a communicating door so make a perfect family suite with shared use of Great Tom bathroom.

Cossington Park Cottage

There is a ground floor bathroom across the corridor from the Golightly bedroom, and an additional family bathroom on the first floor.

How do I book?

You can check availability and book online on our Booking page.

If you book online, we have a minimum stay of at least 3 nights, occasionally more. If you would like a shorter stay, please contact us: info@cossingtonpark.com

 

When do I have to pay for my booking?

We take a 30% deposit where a booking is more than 60 days in advance of your stay, with the balance due at least 60 days in advance.

Full payment is required if booking less than 60 days in advance of your stay.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

Please let us know if you need to change your booking as soon as possible. There will be an administration charge for any date changes, and an additional accommodation fee may be required if the rental fee for any new dates is higher. Should you be unable to stay with us due to Government legislation in relation to Coronavirus, a full refund will be provided .

We offer a full refund less 15% administration fee for cancellations for almost all other reasons up to 2 days prior to arrival.

Please note that this cancellation policy only applies to bookings placed directly with us and not through a third party, where stricter cancellation terms will usually apply.

What Kitchen equipment & appliances do you provide for self-catering?

The kitchens at Park House and Park Cottage are fully equipped for self-catering. Many of our guests say they have never previously stayed in such well-provided accommodation. See our catering page for details. 

Do you provide catering services if we don’t want to cook ourselves?

If you’d like to relax whilst you stay with us, or if you’re catering for a special occasion,  we work with a number of brilliant local caterers who are familiar with the kitchens and catering equipment. They will agree menus with you in advance, then come in on the day, prepare everything, lay up the dining tables, serve with a smile , clear and wash-up afterwards.

Can we bring our own chef ?

Guests may bring their own chef provided this has been agreed with us in advance. It might be necessary for the chef’s professional indemnity insurance to have been pre-approved by our insurers.

Can you arrange food deliveries?

All the major supermarkets will deliver to Cossington Park. You can also order from several local food suppliers.

Do you provide a barbecue?

If you love a barbecue, both Park House and Park Cottage provide ample sized barbecues.

Do you provide coffee machines?

We provide cafetieres. They are more environmentally friendly than coffee machines and (according to Starbucks) produce much better coffee!

 

What are your Check-In and Check-Out times?

The check-in time is 4 pm in both Cossington Park House and Park Cottage. This is to allow us time to fully prepare the property to welcome you.

You are welcome to arrive earlier and to make use of our lovely gardens. Look out for our housekeeping team so they know you have arrived and they will let you in as soon as the properties are ready.

Check out time is strictly 10am in both Cossington Park House and Cossington Park Cottage.

Can I have an early check-in or late check-out?

We can often guarantee early check-in and late check-out times for an additional fee. 

Early check-in and late check-out times must be agreed with us well in advance. 

Please contact us if you’d like to arrive early, or check-out late, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

What are your cleaning processes?

Both Cossington Park House and Cossington Park Cottage will be thoroughly cleaned for your arrival.

Although government restrictions relating to COVID 19 have ended, we still operate an enhanced “2-step” cleaning process at Cossington Park (soap/detergent cleaning and sanitising).

Can I arrange for additional cleaning when I stay?

Your sheets and towels are changed on a weekly basis. However, we can arrange more frequent changes, as well as additional cleaning, tidying, and bed-making. Just let us know your requirements when you book.

Is Cossington Park Dog-Friendly

We’re more than happy to welcome four-legged family members at Cossington Park.

We can accept 3 dogs at Park House and 2 at Park Cottage. We charge £25 per dog for extra cleaning, so we can make sure the property is always spotless for guests.

Our furry friends receive their own welcome basket and treats.

Do you have an EV charging point?

EV charging points are available at both Park House and Park Cottage. Our chargers are Norwegian-made 7KW Easee smart chargers.

Is Cossington Park eco-friendly?

We’re committed to sustainability, reducing our carbon footprint, and contributing positively to our local community.

Our team work to conserve natural resources during cleaning and maintenance of the property, whilst maintaining a high standard for our guests.

What equipment do you provide for children & babies?

We provide a range of equipment for children and babies, including travel cots, stair gates and highchairs.

Is the property family friendly?

Cossington Park is a fantastic place for a family holiday. See our family page for more details.

Do you recommend holiday insurance?

We strongly recommend that the guest making the booking takes out their own travel insurance to cover booking cancellations .

Whilst we do not recommend a particular company, the Which Holiday Insurance website provides guidance and a comparison tool.

What parking is available?

There is secure, off road parking available for 5 cars at Park House, and 3 at Park Cottage. Further spaces can be provided on request.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not allowed indoors in either Park House or Park Cottage. Guests can smoke in the grounds but we ask that all cigarette butts are collected and disposed of.

Do you provide Wifi & Internet?

Wifi is available throughout both Park House and Park Cottage.
