Our historic homes combine modern luxury accommodation with over four centuries of one family’s history.
In each room you’ll find family pictures and heirlooms collected over the centuries, creating a unique and very special historic backdrop to your celebration.
Multiple cosy living areas allow plenty of space for large groups to come together or find a quiet corner.
The kitchens are brilliantly equipped for self-catering and preparing celebration meals. And when you gather in the historic Library Dining room, you can imagine laughter and clinking glasses from centuries past.
The 9 luxurious, individually named bedrooms provide a tranquil space at the end of a day celebrating. Extra beds can be set up for the children.
We understand pets are part of the family, so our accommodation is dog-friendly.

Our luxury holiday cottages are surrounded by 22 acres of glorious gardens and grounds.
There are enclosed areas for the dogs and children will love the play area and football field. There’s ample space for exploration, relaxation and lots of fun!

A very special birthday party
One of our recent guests, Chris, was looking for a large, historic holiday home to celebrate his 60th birthday. Cossington Park Estate provided the perfect luxury venue for Chris’s party of 19 friends, family and two dogs.
Whilst 5 star accommodation was important, Chris also wanted everyone to create lasting memories together.
Pampering spa treatments were arranged at the house, while the children enjoyed a pony-trekking adventure on the Mendip Hills. The nearby dog-friendly beach at Brean was the perfect spot for a walk with the family dogs.
A few games of football were also enjoyed!
To top off the festivities, a local caterer prepared a special celebratory dinner, ensuring a truly unforgettable experience for all.

“I was lucky enough to find Cossington Park and its owner Graham Wason while searching for a location to host my 60th birthday party.
“Graham’s family has owned the house for more than 400 years and I could not have hoped for a warmer welcome.
“He guided us to an excellent caterer. There was a wonderful spa therapist who came to the house to offer a range of treatments and a horse-riding centre for the kids to go pony trekking.
“We rented both available properties, which were warm, cosy and incredibly well equipped with everything we needed. Plus a roaring log fire to keep us toasty on a cold February evening.
“It’s a truly magical place and perfect for all kinds of big gatherings for family and friends.”
