The Red Tile Inn
This welcoming village pub is just 10 minutes’ walk from Cossington Park. You can enjoy good quality home cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere. Dogs are welcome.
Leather and Lace Bar and Grill
Visiting this unique, quirky venue is a must if you’re looking for a completely different dining experience. With friendly owners, a fantastic garden, and delicious food, the Leather and Lace is a just short drive or a 30-minute scenic walk from Cossington. Dogs are more than welcome.
Bower Inn, Near Bridgwater
This historic 18th-century pub sits on the edge of the Somerset Levels, offering locally sourced food in a warm and inviting setting. The pub is family and dog-friendly and fully wheelchair accessible.

The Sheppey Inn, Near Wells
A lovely local pub “in the middle of nowhere” on the Somerset Levels. There’s a fantastic outdoor waterside area, quirky décor, and delicious, modern European food. They also have a great range of local beers and ciders and run popular music events throughout the year.
Dog and family friendly. Be prepared for narrow, winding roads to get there. Booking and prompt arrival are advised as it’s very popular.
Queen of Cups Glastonbury
A relaxed, Michelin-starred Restaurant and Freehouse situated in a rustic 17th century inn close to Glastonbury town centre and Abbey. Serving superb, tapas style, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food based on local and seasonal ingredients.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the sunny courtyard and a small, dog-friendly indoor bar area. Smaller dogs may be allowed indoors in the main restaurant.
