Cossington Park Cottage, lovingly known as Ethel’s Cottage after its former housekeeper, blends Victorian charm with modern conveniences to create an inviting, accessible holiday retreat. This dog-friendly, 3-bedroom cottage on our picturesque Somerset estate is ideal for small groups and family getaways.
The bright, open-plan living area features cosy sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped modern kitchen, plus a dining space overlooking an enclosed walled garden. Large bi-fold doors open onto a level decked terrace with a barbecue.
The ground floor includes a spacious accessible bedroom and adjoining wet room, ideal for less mobile guests. Upstairs, you’ll find two further luxurious bedrooms and a family bathroom, with extra accessibility equipment available on request.
The enclosed walled garden is wheelchair-friendly and perfect for pets, featuring a ramp and pathways that connect to the shared grounds. These include a football field, orchard, walled vegetable garden, children’s play area, and a level path to Park House for guests renting the whole estate.
Guests can enjoy the shared games room and a variety of activities on the estate or nearby. The expansive shared grounds provide ample space for relaxation and fun for all ages, making this an ideal spot for an accessible luxury holiday in Somerset.
