Welcome to the Cossington Park Spring Newsletter.
There are many signs of spring here in Somerset where the climate is more temperate and the days longer than the UK average; how welcome after all the challenges of the last 12 months.
During the national lock-downs, Cossington Park hosted essential ‘key workers’ and opened our extensive gardens to local people under social distancing supervision.
From 12 April, we look forward to welcoming our usual guests – families and friends celebrating in the warm embrace of our special family home. We look forward to hosting you again.
Graham, Owner-Guardian

Staff Recommendations

St Audries Bay
Guest Welcome Support, Shazeah, recommends St Audries Bay Beach as a place to visit. The beach is quiet and perfect for a chilled get away with the family. She includes some of her family photographs there:

Sands at St Audries Bay

Playing with rocks at St Audries Bay

Apex Park
Cossington Park Handyman, Chris, his wife Deb who helps with housekeeping, and their daughter Jess who supports with IT, recommend Apex Park as a place to visit when you stay at Cossington Park.
Apex Park is a great place to walk dogs whilst walking through a stunning nature reserve and eventually leads to Burnham sea front. It is a lovely alternative to a sandy beach walk, with plenty of parking and benches to sit on and is generally fairly flat for those with mobility issues.
