Cossington Park opened its doors for the local residents on Tuesday night, complete with mince pies and mulled wine and cider.
Many guests entered the house greeted by a warm glass of mulled wine or cider freshly prepared by Anne Baker and a locally sourced mince pie from Burns the Bread assisted with brandy butter from Brue Valley Farms.
The house was lightly dressed with simple Christmas decorations with guests having the opportunity to walk around and see the estate for themselves, admiring the historic photographs and artefacts dotted around the house dating back 400 years of the Wason family.
