The largest and most sociable of our luxury holiday cottages in Somerset, Cossington Park House offers a unique blend of history and modern comfort. Originally two medieval cottages transformed by the owner’s ancestors into a single, elegant country retreat in the early 1900s, this large six-bedroom holiday home is perfect for multi-generational family holidays and large group getaways.
Park House is brimming with character, whilst still equipped with all the modern conveniences you’d expect from a luxury country escape. The expansive drawing room boasts an open fire, Sky-enabled TV and beautiful views. A second large lounge is the ideal place for children to escape the adults (or vice versa!)
The dramatic Library Dining Room is home to some of the estate’s 5,000 books, creating an impressive setting for special celebrations and family gatherings. Cooks will love the well-equipped kitchens, perfect for catering for large groups.
Upstairs, six family-friendly bedrooms offer flexible accommodation, including additional bedding options for younger guests.
Outdoors, the dog-friendly private garden provides ample space for games and for children and pets to play. The estate features secure, dog-friendly areas, as well as a wonderful, shared games room, orchard, children’s play area, and football field, ensuring endless entertainment for all ages.
