At the time of writing our local pub in the village, The Red Tile, welcomes well behaved dogs. There are also others including The Ashcott Inn, The Bicknoller Inn and The Bower Inn that are only a short distance away. You can read more about these local pubs below.

Situated halfway between Taunton and Minehead, just off the A358. Dwarfed by the stunning Quantock Hills, this 14th century thatched traditional country inn is an ideal family venue for lunches, evening meals, and Sunday roasts. The pub is dog friendly and there is an extensive garden, with a Boules court plus outside skittles.

Conveniently located on the outskirts of Bridgwater and less than a 10 minute drive from Cossington Park. The Bower Inn is a very attractive 18th century building set in a picturesque cottage garden on the edge of the Somerset Levels. There are log fires in the winter and dogs are welcome. Definitely worth a visit!

The Bridge Inn is a country pub in Dulverton – the gateway to Exmoor. It dates from 1845 and sits on the beautiful River Barle. Excellent pub food, served at all hours. Dogs are very welcome – the owner’s dog, Milly, keeps a secret stash of gravy bones behind the bar for visiting dogs.
