Somerset is beautiful at any time of the year, but Autumn at Cossington Park is particularly so.

The grounds are transformed with stunning hues of bronze, gold, and red. Our rare Chinese Elm looks particularly fabulous at this time of year.

The trees in the orchard are laden with apples and Comice and Conference pears and guests may be treated to the sight of flocks of starlings swirling over from miles around on their way to their roosting grounds at the nearby Avalon Marshes nature reserves.

Even when the weather doesn’t favour walks around the grounds, there’s always lots to do inside. With open fires and thousands of books and DVDs, guests of all ages can simply tuck themselves up on a comfy sofa in front of the fire. There’s plenty of games to keep the children amused too!

If you want to venture further afield, there are also plenty of events and places to explore across Somerset in November.
