Cossington Park provides self-catering holiday accommodation for up to 18 adults plus children, across two family homes on a historic estate.
Self-Catering at Park House
With 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and extensive self-catering facilities, Cossington Park House is the perfect place to hold a special event or escape with a large group of family or friends.
The Old Kitchen is at the heart of the home. This lovely room has plenty of space to sit at the table and enjoy time with the family. The large all-electric induction range cooker has a 5-plate hob, 2 ovens, and a grill – so there’s plenty of cooking space when catering for a large group.
The kitchen is equipped with every possible utensil, including multiples of many of them so that the whole family can get involved with preparing dinner. There is an extensive range of cookware in the house for baking, roasting, broiling, and more! And more than enough crockery, glassware, and serving dishes for all your needs.
There’s more than enough space to store food for a large group, with an American-style fridge/freezer with an ice maker, and a second fridge in the Larder/Laundry.
There’s also a microwave, several kettles and toasters, a bread maker, and a slow cooker. Two dishwashers mean no arguments about who gets to do the washing up!
Once you’ve prepared your meal, you can set up for dinner for up to 30 in the Library Dining Room, sit down in the Old Kitchen or Breakfast Room, or cosy up with dinner on your lap in the Morning Room or Drawing Room.
On warm sunny days, there’s a seating area in the main garden where you can enjoy al fresco dining.
A barbecue is available too.

Self-Catering at Park Cottage
Our beautifully renovated Victorian Cottage sleeps 6 adults plus children and features a super-social open-plan kitchen/living/dining area with bi-fold doors opening onto the garden and deck.
The Kitchen is brilliantly equipped for self-catering, with an induction cooker, fridge/freezer, and microwave, as well as a dishwasher to avoid all that washing up!
You’ll find all the pots, pans, china, cutlery, glassware, and cooking tools to meet your needs.
The dining area looks out onto the private walled garden. When the weather is warm, you can fully open the bifold doors to let the outside in or sit on the decked alfresco dining area to enjoy the fresh air. There’s also an ample-sized barbecue.

Food shopping
There are plenty of local shops where you can stock up for your stay with us, including some fabulous farm shops.
If you’d like food delivered, all the major supermarkets and some local producers can deliver to Cossington Park. We’ll give you details in our digital guide when you book.
Catering for special events
Are you catering for an extra special occasion? Or would you simply prefer your holiday to be undisturbed by cooking duties?
We can provide details of local caterers who can make your stay extra special, some of whom have worked with us for decades and are loved by our guests. Whether you’re catering for 2 or 200, there are lots of options to choose from.
Our caterers can provide:
- Afternoon teas
- Buffets
- Barbecues
- Celebration cakes
- “Drop off” dinners, where meals are prepared off-site and delivered to you to reheat
- Special sit-down dinners
You can even arrange for someone to drop in and do all the cooking during your stay – including breakfast!
